Overview
Solar energy production is highest during the day when household consumption may be low. By integrating a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), you can store this excess solar energy for use during the evening or on cloudy days, maximizing self-consumption and reducing reliance on the grid.
PV + Storage Integration
Our solution works seamlessly with both new and already existing PV-string inverters, making it highly versatile. Whether you’re setting up a brand-new system or looking to enhance an existing installation, our technology adapts to your needs.
Retrofit or New Install: The InREC-36 product can be designed into new installations or retrofitted into existing PV setups.
Flexible Options: In rare cases, it may be advantageous to connect your PV array directly to the InREC-36. However, in most scenarios, using separate inverters for solar panels and batteries is the more economical choice.
Maximizing Efficiency with Grid Exchange Control
To further optimize self-consumption, our system can be enhanced with the Grid Exchange Controller (GEC), which works in tandem with one or more InREC-36 units. This setup allows your household to conserve PV-generated energy for later use, ensuring efficient management of both solar production and energy storage.
Advanced Control: The GEC (powered by ACS-IoT) ensures smooth integration between the grid, your solar panels, and the battery storage, allowing for smart energy distribution within the household.
Economical and Scalable
Our technology offers flexibility in design and scalability:
It works best when solar panels and batteries have separate inverters, offering the most cost-effective solution. For larger installations or increased storage needs, multiple InREC-36 units can be used to meet your energy requirements.
