RCV HQ – Peak shaver
Location: Niewegein
Main application: Peak shaving
Power & capacity: 15kW & 40 kWh
In this project, the InREC36 and AC Sensor Autonomous ensures the stability of our HQ grid connection by managing energy loads during peak usage. By intelligently peak shaving, we prevent overloading our fuse during the intensive testing of our products, keeping our laboratory and offices running smoothly.
The energy is stored in three Battery Flex BaseDC units, each equipped with six packs. The InREC36 offers incredible flexibility with its three independent DC inputs, allowing each BaseDC to connect to its own individual DC input and operate independently. If one BaseDC is empty or full, the system will continue to function using the remaining DC inputs. The batteries can even operate with completely different DC voltages or capacities, with a maximum charge or discharge current specified for each. This configuration ensures continuous operation and optimal energy management, even under varying conditions.
Customer – Optimization self-consumption & Backup Power
Location: Utrecht
Main application: Optimization self-consumption & Backup Power
Power & capacity: 5200W & 14.2kWh
In this project, the Battery Flex AC1, combined with the Battery Flex Backup Solo, is optimizing self-consumption and ensuring uninterrupted power at the customer site. This system maximizes the use of renewable energy while seamlessly providing backup power during outages, enhancing energy efficiency and reliability.
The Battery Flex AC1 is equipped with six packs, delivering robust energy storage capacity. The customer has implemented custom integrations using MQTT and HomeAssistant to control power flow. For instance, they can charge their EV based on the real-time prices of their energy contract, allowing for more cost-effective and efficient energy management.
