Scalable AC Power with Multiple Inverters
For larger systems, multiple InREC-36 inverters can be connected in parallel. This can be achieved either by linking up to three inverters to a single battery or by using separate batteries for each inverter, with the AC sides connected in parallel to reach the desired power capacity. Despite the use of multiple inverters, they function as a single unit from the grid’s perspective, ensuring a seamless energy flow and unified management experience.
Three Inverters with One Battery (3 .. 1)
When dealing with a very large single battery, this configuration allows for scalable power while maintaining a unified and synchronized output towards the grid.
Flexible DC Input Configuration
The InREC-36 offers three individual DC inputs, providing maximum flexibility for battery configurations:
- When connected to three individual batteries, the three DC inputs run an individual charge and discharge profile, ensuring battery safety and safeguarding optimal battery lifetime.
- When connected to a single battery, the three DC inputs operate in parallel to share the burden
- In a multi-inverter BESS, the DC inputs of all InRECs can be connected to a single battery
One Single Battery (1 .. 1)
Alternatively, you can tie the three inputs together to connect to a battery system with a larger power rating. This makes it ideal for systems that require a higher capacity without compromising on stability or efficiency.
Three Separate Batteries (1 .. 3)
Each of the three inputs can connect to an individual battery, with the constraints of that specific battery being respected. This means you can connect up to three different batteries, even if they vary in brand, type, or chemistry, ensuring total flexibility in deployment.
