As of October 2024, REConvert is charting a new path as an independent company, breaking from its holding company and ceasing its exclusivity collaboration with Solarwatt. This pivotal moment allows REConvert to expand its reach while continuing to lead in power electronics solutions for the renewable energy market.
A History of Innovation and Close Collaboration
REConvert has over 20 years of experience in the EU and US markets, delivering innovative solutions that help clients lower their total cost of ownership and reduce their carbon footprint. Our journey started at Mastervolt, where we pioneered battery charger-inverters and grid-connected PV inverters. Later, at Omron Corporation, we developed residential PV inverters for the U.S. market, before founding REConvert as an independent company in 2018.
In 2019, we began a close collaboration with Solarwatt Innovation, which led to the development of the Battery Flex platform, a significant achievement that demonstrated our shared vision of advancing renewable energy solutions. This partnership grew so strong that in 2022, we became part of Solarwatt GmbH, working together to develop innovative energy storage solutions. With platform completion, we are now parting ways to pursue our own independent path once again, focusing on bringing new products to the global market.
Launch of the New C&I Inverter Portfolio
As part of our independent journey, we are proud to introduce our new C&I inverter portfolio, featuring the InREC-36, a state-of-the-art 30kW hybrid inverter designed to meet the evolving needs of commercial and industrial applications. Accompanying this product is the ACSA-IoT facilitating plant control of multiple InRECs for sites up to 1MW. Additionally, in a complementary role, it ensures seamless autonomous operation in our robust Backup Box, designed to deliver reliable backup power in the event of grid outages.
Comprehensive Service Offerings
In addition to our product portfolio, REConvert offers system integration services and system contract development services to support clients in the renewable energy field. Whether through OEM partnerships or tailored licensing solutions, we are committed to helping our clients achieve fast returns on investment while lowering their carbon footprint.
“REConvert’s transition to independence enables us to explore new opportunities and partnerships,” says Arno van Zwam, Managing Director of REConvert. “Our focus on power electronics in renewable energy continues to drive innovation, and we are excited to offer the market our new inverter products and expanded services.”
